Where Will We Go?

「我是誰？」是個簡單但卻不易回答的問題。青年⾯對在「⾝分」上的空缺，彷彿⾃我認同主體是⼀種虛構的、成形中的形象……

我該站在什麼位置才是正確的？青年⾯對在「⾝分」上的空缺，彷彿⾃我認同主體是⼀種虛構的、成形中的形象。青年似乎只能努力「試著扮演」台灣人⋯⋯

​

回望臺灣歷史脈絡，從過去在方方面面強制同一的「認同」，到青年所生存的、擁抱多元的當代，雖趨向自由，卻也因過去文化可能遭受破壞與抹除，難有傳承，進而形成身分上的「空缺」。這一次我們由裝置藝術與表演藝術展開，透過肉身碰撞，重新思考身體與身分，找尋自我認同的主體與形象可能。

Who am I? The simple yet unfulfilled question demonstrates the absence of youth’s self-identity, while the fictional self-concept is yet to be found. 

​

With the seeming uncertainty of self-identity and the void of self-concept in progress, youths of Taiwan grope and search for their position as they could only try to play the role of Taiwanese for now.

​

The history of Taiwan sailed from the constrained identity of unity to the generation which embraces diversity and freedom. However, the vandalism of past heritages left a void space in youths’ identities. The performance digests and investigates the possibilities of the human body, identities, and images.
